Privacy Policy

1. Overview
PDF Go Free is built around client-side PDF processing. Your documents are parsed and transformed inside your browser, which means we do not receive the contents of the PDFs or images you process and cannot read, re-host, or train machine-learning models on those files.
2. Data we do not collect from tools
- The binary contents of PDFs you compress, merge, split, convert, or rotate.
- Filenames, page text, signatures, or form field values from those documents.
- Your name, email address, or phone number—unless you voluntarily email us.
- Payment details, because the tools are free and do not require purchases.
3. Data we may collect
Like most websites, infrastructure and analytics partners may process limited metadata:
- IP address, user agent, referrer, and approximate timestamps in server or CDN logs.
- Aggregated usage metrics (page views, scroll depth, or feature clicks) if analytics tags fire.
- Cookie or local-storage identifiers used for preferences such as light/dark theme.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable storage for purposes such as:
- Remembering UI preferences (for example, theme selection).
- Measuring traffic patterns to improve performance and content.
- Enabling advertising partners to deliver or measure ads (see Google AdSense below).
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may disable optional features or prevent vendors from remembering opt-outs.
5. Third-party services
5.1 Google AdSense
PDF Go Free may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including DoubleClick DART cookies) to serve ads based on a visitor's browsing history on this site and others.
- Learn how Google uses data when you use partner sites: Google partner sites policy.
- Review Google's advertising technologies overview: Google Ads technologies.
- Opt out of personalized ads from participating vendors via aboutads.info choices.
5.2 Google Analytics
If the site operator configures Google Analytics, Google will process pseudonymous usage statistics. Review Google's Privacy Policy for details and opt-out mechanisms such as browser add-ons.
5.3 Cloudflare
Static hosting or CDN providers such as Cloudflare may terminate TLS connections, cache files, and log technical metadata for security and reliability. Consult Cloudflare's privacy documentation for retention and subprocessors.
6. Personalized advertising controls
You can manage many personalized advertising settings directly with Google via Google Ads Settings. Additional industry opt-out tools are linked in Section 5.1.
7. Children's privacy
PDF Go Free is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through a contact form, email the addresses published on our Contact page so we can delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA may grant you rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, and to object to certain processing (for example, targeted advertising). Because our PDF tools do not upload your files, most requests relate to analytics, advertising, or email correspondence—not document contents.
To exercise a right, visit Contact and describe your request, or email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. International visitors
We may rely on infrastructure located in multiple countries. By using the site, you understand that metadata collected by hosting or analytics vendors may be processed in the United States, the European Union, Taiwan, or other regions where those vendors operate.
10. Policy updates
We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, legal requirements, or vendor practices. Updates will be posted on this page with a refreshed “Last updated” date.
